ABOUT
The matriarch of Beachside Blooms is Shelley Keast. She found her way into flowers at a young age so being naturally drawn to flowers and fauna as a child, opening her own boutique seemed like the perfect thing to do.
Spending time with her auntie in her florist shop in her teenage years, Shelley found herself with a raw talent for botanical design. Guided by her auntie, she found her first job in Melbourne at the young age of 17 managing a shop in the northern suburbs. Gaining unfounded experience in customer service and floral design, Shelley has worked with many florists in Melbourne and Geelong.
After a few years raising two beautiful children and moving to the coast, Shelley opened Beachside Blooms in 2007.
Located on The Terrace in Ocean Grove on the Bellarine Peninsula, Shelley is heavily involved in the local community, utilising local flower growers wherever possible.
Shelley's arrangements range from the modern to designs suitable for older customers. Her versatility in her designs is evident with the numerous awards she has won over the last 12 years.
Shelley is heavily involved in the wedding scene in Victoria and after winning 7 statewide awards and 1 national award, Shelley counts theses as her proudest moments in business.
